I really enjoyed the room decor and especially the ammenities. This is a comportable place for a gay man to stay.
The hotel is in a strange location beside the highway. You need to take a taxi to the strip. Once you Are inside though, the hotel is very quiet and relaxing especially by the pool.
Excellent staff, very frindly.
I had like the staff, the size of the room and the clients
The lightning is verry defficient, it is hard ton find how to close or it do not work, The breakfest is too short because we go to bed at 3am.
As a gay resort, the Blue Moon compares favorably with those in Palm Springs! Lots of fun, playful, and very comfortable and well-kept.
Long walk to the Strip!
Very nice people. Well appointed rooms, attention to detail, helpful staff, great pool, jicuzzi and steam room
It's not far from the strip, but there is nothing within walking distance from the hotel. You'd definitely need a car. But it's close to the strip and all the happenings in Vegas.
Pool area is great
Poor maintenance. Many Lights out, Broken Shower head in Spa, etc. Showerhead in room was worn out, Burned out bulbs in room, missing drain stoppers, etc.
Porn videos were a good selection. Free wireless internet. Clean bed linens
Everywhere except the lobby should be clothing optional. Play room would have been useful, the video room was a little sparse. Pool was too cold. Cold drink machines next to the food/snack machines please.
The entire staff at Blue Moon is awesome. They were kind, courtious, helpful, and just a great bunch of guys. I can't wait to return.
very relaxing, pictures online were the same as in person, very nice room and all around hotel small but nice, i would have expected the pictures online to be alittle different in person but it was the same as pic.
Location isn't great, but price makes up for it.
The staff is very attentive and friendly. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms a large and clean.
The daily breakfast could have a more healthy variety of choices.
The people and stadd at the Blue Moon were nice.
I feel that the cleanly ness of the bedding i.e comforter was not the cleanest and the hot-tub was not the clean as well. When I wanted to go into the steam room there was no steam and when the staff finally reset the streamer it still did not get very hot. Easy to meet other guests and easy access to other Las Vegas attractions.
Had trouble with hot water.
relaxed atmosphere, openness, freedom to roam, other guest, pool, steamroom, sun deck big firm bed
everything was way above standard with great prices.
This resort is geared to a specific population and many people wouldn't appreciate it. For those in the right population, it's a great place to stay! It's very near to the places in Vegas where all the activity is. But it's a great place where you can just relax by the pool. The staff is very helpful and attentive to all your needs. The online reviews are mixed. I didn't see any of the negatives that some people reported. Although people might not stay here based on the rates, I actually found the room-rates were much more reasonable than the week-end rates on the strip and even off the strip!
Some of the air-conditioners probably need some updating. The air was cool but not cold and sometimes you want cold! (Especially around Las Vegas.)
